Family Time: Mondays at 6:30 p.m.
Each program is 30-60 minutes long and includes stories, music, crafts, games, or a movie.

 

Oct 5 – Fire Prevention Week
Join us in welcoming the Marion Fire Fighters as they visit the library to spread the word about Fire Prevention Week and give great tips about staying safe around fire and at home.
All ages. 30-45 mins.

Oct 12 – Lego Night 
Come builder a master creation with the library’s stash of everyone’s favorite building blocks.
Ages 3+. 30mins - 1 hour

Oct 19 – Thomas the Train Scavenger Hunt
We'll be searching for Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends in the children’s library, so grab a list and see if you can find them all!
Ages 2+. 30-45 mins.

Oct 26 – Costume parade and trick-or-treat through the library.
We’ll decorate some goody bags and then visit the librarians for some fun treats and surprises.
All ages. 30 – 45 mins. 

Nov 2 - Fork Painting
Join us for a messy art night where we’ll be making fun paintings using only forks! Bring clothes you don’t mind getting messy!
For ages 2+. 30 minutes.

Nov 9 - Minecraft (1st-12th Grader) Registration Required

Nov 16 - Guessing Games
Miss Lara will be disguising some everyday objects for you to try to guess. Bring your thinking caps and try to guess all the mystery items!
Ages 3+. 30 – 45 minutes.

Nov 23 - Turkey Scavenger Hunt
A flock of turkeys got loose in the kids area and now they’re hiding! Try to find all the turkeys and guess a silly turkey riddle!
All ages. 30 minutes.

Nov 30 - Lego Night
We’re bringing out the Lego and Duplo blocks to build your master creations! Use one of our Lego books to get ideas or come up with something completely unique! All creations will be displayed at the library for the next 2 weeks.
All ages. 30 minutes – 1 hour.
